Description:

In this audio, Susette Wagon teaches you how to speak Shoshone. The words are first said in English by an unknown woman, and then Susette repeats them in Shoshone. The lesson covers clothing items such as shirt, trousers, men’s trousers, shoes, hat, belt, socks, necklace, scarf, coat, dress, button, and safety pin.

Next, they go over small phrases such as “What is this?” and “What is that?” and how to respond in Shoshone. Then they cover colors, clothing, and accessories. Following that, they go over two-word descriptions such as red socks and brown shoes, and finally, asking a question and answering that question in Shoshone.

The final part includes a review of words learned such as house, chicken, cat, dog, etc.
