Description: This audio is from the Feb. 27th, 1985, Shoshone General Council Meeting. Lucille McAdams opened the discussion by addressing issues within the Indian Health Service (IHS). An important motion was made to prohibit individuals from running for more than one committee and to adjust the length of their term. Additionally, there was a discussion about the failures of the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) in assisting the people on the Wind River Reservation and the need for a juvenile officer.
